Basel 3.1: Navigating Implementation, Capital Impact and Optimisation

Join ALMA for our first in-person Members event of the autumn on Tuesday 29th September from 5.30pm (for 6:00pm start) to discuss implementation challenges firms face, ahead of the 1st January 2027 effective date for the new Basel 3.1 rules. 

The event will begin with a technical presentation from Ramesh Parmar and Kantilal Pithia from Grant Thornton FS Advisory, followed by a panel including Shahid Shafi (TSB Bank), Paul Allton (Shawbrook Bank) and Sarah Hindle (Handlesbanken) who will discuss their perspectives on the potential implications on capital, profitability/returns and thoughts on potential optimisation techniques. 

The evening will conclude with refreshments and canapés, offering the unique networking opportunities that ALMA events provide.
