Venue: Nationwide, 1 Threadneedle Street, London, EC2R 8AY
Join ALMA for our first in-person event of the autumn on Wednesday 8th October at Nationwide, Threadneedle Street, London. This event will help demystify what the new IASB Dynamic Risk Management (DRM) model might mean for bank and building society real world portfolio hedging strategy practices. It is designed as a '101' for Treasury and Risk teams on the development of a new accounting standard to replace the existing requirements of IAS39 for portfolio hedge accounting. Tom Hampshire (Partner EY) will provide an overview of the accounting model and key differences to IAS 39, followed by a panel discussion with Hedge Accounting experts Paresh Jain (HSBC), Catherine Lambert (YBS) and Christopher Smith (Barclays) that will explore what it means for Treasury and Risk Teams.
