Leeds Conference 2026 - Queens Hotel, City Square, Leeds
Thursday 10th September 2026

ALMA is delighted to announce a complimentary half day conference and networking event taking place at the Queens Hotel in Leeds on Thursday 10th September from 2pm.  This event builds on ALMA's commitment to hold more frequent regional events and follows on from the success and popularity of the last two years of conferences and networking events in Leeds.

The afternoon will kick off with a UK economic update from Max Shepherd (Chief Economist, Yorkshire Building Society), followed by a panel discussion on AI, moderated by Alastair Gunn (Barclays) on how it can be practically adopted in Treasury. Further sessions include a panel discussion on the Liquidity Policy Framework consultation  followed by a session on how to steer the balance sheet through market volatility.  The event will conclude with canapés and networking drinks until 8pm, with the unparallelled networking opportunities that ALMA events provide.

This event is for ALMA members only and is targeted at Treasury / ALM practitioners (first and second line) in Banks, Building Societies and FinTechs based in the Northern region.  Be sure to register your interest early to secure your free place at this limited capacity event.  Places will be confirmed as soon as possible and on a first come, first served basis as places are limited.
